Driver Arrested For DUI After Tulsa Chase, Crash

Police arrested a Tulsa man on suspicion of DUI after he crashed his car into a chain link fence early Tuesday.  

Officers said they tried to stop Clayton McDaniel, 33, outside a Tulsa nightclub about a half-mile south of Admiral when he took off.  Police said McDaniel failed to make a turn on Louisville near Independence and the car crashed through a fence, barely missing a house.

Police booked McDaniel into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, driving under suspension and reckless driving.

Jail records show he has a court appearance set for May 10.
