After splitting the two games played in San Antonio to start the series, the Thunder and Spurs move to OKC to square off in the third game of the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday at 8:30 p.m. To say this was a huge game would be an understatement, as the Thunder could take control of the series with a win.

Our Thunder reporter Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) along with Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) will be tweeting updates from inside of Chesapeake Energy Arena throughout the game, so keep checking in to ensure you don't miss out on any of the action.

Setting up for another wild finish in #SASvsOKC. Can San Antonio/OKC fans' hearts take it? #News9Thunder #NBAPlayoffs

— Chuck Fisher (@cfishernews9) May 7, 2016

I guess KD's gotta sit...but can't allow separation again. Russ had best create...assuming his shot's not coming back. 77-75 SA, 857. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

4 of 7 threes for #Thunder in 3rd keeps them in it. KD must own 4th & cut out TOs. Russ 7-24 & not hitting/taking patented 15 J. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Spurs 72 Thunder 69 after three #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

I'm worn out from playing (typing) from behind all night. @News9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

GreatO adjustment Donovan. After wobbly start to 3rd w players on perimeter, he sticks KD down low. Scored 2 straight possessions. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Pop very animated during this timeout, talking to team. #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

2 KD & Russ 3s pull OKC back to 6. Spurs D congesting things. May be that @okcthunder must make inordinate number of 2nd half 3s. #NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

#Thunder played w fire and rallied from 15 to 5 in first half. Can't get away with again. But it's already a 10-point game. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Stunning stat: OKC 20-6 adv in paint. Aldridge a more Earthly 5-11.. But Spurs 7-11 from 3 vs OKC's 4-13. Winnable.
Huge, Tiny E. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Long scoring drought and only down 5, not bad at all. #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

Very impressive rally by @OKCThunder. Hard to catch up v championship teams. Dumb play late 2nd stopped MO, but 15-pt deficit now 5.@NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Spurs 47 Thunder 42 Half #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

Killer foul, and a dumb one by KD, his 3rd. Out of position and against Manu who was unlikely to score. And thwarts momentum. 43-38. @news9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Ouch, KD picks up third foul. #News9Thunder

— Brad Galbreath (@bradgalbreath) May 7, 2016

Spurs are shooting lights out behind the line, 7-10, but OKC hanging in there trailing 42-34. #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

No Adams down lane pick & roll slams like G1/2. Why not? His name is Gregg Popovich. And he got 93% vote by GMs for best coach. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

#Thunder D strong again, but too much of 1st 20 mins was poor. May cost them a chance to win. Making up 15 hard vSA. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Enes is playing great D, Durant hit the last two field goals for OKC, 20-22 and 24-35 #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

Spurs 13-0 run -- aided by 6 OKC turnovers -- began 50 seconds after Cam Payne replaced Russ. @NEWS9 #News9Thunder

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Think Spurs aren't champs? 13-0 run last 7:28 (4-0 when rookie in for Russ). OKC D not nearly as good as Game 2. Won't cut it v SA. @news9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

OKC stuck on 20 #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

Still no Russ. Mistake. @NEWS9

Rough finish in the first with Russ on bench, Spurs lead 27-20 after one #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

3 turnovers since lineup change and no points. Russ back in, coach.

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Payne turnover, offensive foul on Dion, KD turnover, Spurs go up 7 #news9thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

KD costs 4 points in 12 second span. Trailed on D and gave up L/U, and sloppy turn results in run-out slam. Megastar can't do that. @news9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Keeping track, Russs out at 2:48, Payne in. @News9. Needs to be short. TO on first possession! @news9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Spurs flawless behind arc 4/4 Thunder holding strong only down two. #News9Thunder

— Steve McGehee (@SteveMcGehee) May 7, 2016

Aldridge misses first shot after making all FGs & FTs. Adams lays Leonard flat w legal screen. The man's a beast. 20-22, what a game @news9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

KD's gotta have a great reason to pass off to Roberson when he's driving. Or breathing for that matter. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Spurs near-flawless start. But #Thunder sharp too. First foul called 3:46 into game. Spurs 12-11. @NEWS9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

Jimmy's at the Peake. You know it's big. @okcthunder #news9Thunder @news9 pic.twitter.com/g0FxcKIUuR

BDonovan called me aside after pregame presser. Apologized profusely for "putting you in awkward position" n G2 presser. Total class. @News9

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 7, 2016

How will refs call game? W perception that #Spurs got screwed in G2 -- which is wrong -- will they be impacted tonight? Subliminally? @news9

Darth Vader arrives. Pressure ramps up on Aldridge in OKC. Assuming Kwahi bounces back #Thunder must contain. @news9 pic.twitter.com/FXbvww00zE

Donovan says the 18 turnovers in Game 2 were more from being in attack mode than sloppiness. @news9 #News9Thunder pic.twitter.com/cKc80Ihgex

FWIW-Game 1 Thunder warmup mood was loose. Game 2 no smiles, grinding. Tonight, more like Game 1-loose. @news9 pic.twitter.com/wHkHGq50Bs

Peaceful Chesapeake could become rowdy & experience what would be a major league win. But then again... @NEWS9 pic.twitter.com/sZAE20lVZx

— Dean Blevins (@DeanBlevins) May 6, 2016

#Thunder must win both G3 & 4. Can't rely on winning at SA & beating them more in series than they lost in other 43 at home. @NEWS9
