BA Police Release More Info In Road Rage Shooting

Broken Arrow Police released additional information about a vehicle they believe was involved in a road rage shooting over the weekend. They are looking for a late 1990s to early 2000s red or maroon Dodge Durango - or similar model vehicle - with damage to the front passenger side.

Officers responded about 2:30 a.m. Saturday to the area of 41st Street and County Line Road in reference to an apparent road rage incident resulting in a shooting.

The victim told police the male driver the Dodge SUV was forcing other drivers off the road and then began tailgating him. The victim stopped his vehicle and confronted the man, who shot him in the face with a handgun.

The suspect fled eastbound on 41st Street, according to the witness. The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury and is expected to recover.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police released the updated description of the possible suspect vehicle after learning it struck a light pole in the area of the incident.
