Transmission Line Problem Knocks Out Power In Tulsa

PSO says a transmission line problem knocked out power to thousands of customers Wednesday afternoon.

The utility said a substation near 61st and Memorial shut down at about 2 p.m., shutting off power to 8,500 customers.

PSO didn't know the cause of the problem as of 3:15, but said power should be restored to all customers by 4 p.m.
