The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a passenger in a car which crashed on Highway 33 in Creek County Wednesday afternoon has died.

Troopers said the crash happened just after 4 p.m. about seven miles east of Drumright.

In their report, troopers said a 2006 Chevy Malibu driven by Pamela Harmon, 58, of Kellyville was headed east when the car went off the road.  Troopers said the driver over corrected causing the car to cross over the center line and go off the highway hitting a fence and utility pole.

The OHP says the driver refused medical treatment, but a passenger, Robert Harmon, 64, also of Kellyville was taken to a Tulsa hospital after being pinned in the wreckage.  He was pronounced dead just after 9 p.m.

The OHP report cited inattentive driving as the cause of the crash.
