The city of Tulsa is looking for citizen input in a major facelift at a city park near 21st and Garnett. There's a meeting Tuesday night where the parks director is looking for your ideas.

It's one of the few Tulsa parks actually mentioned by name in the Vision tax package.

McCullough Park is on about 11 acres near Disney Elementary, and thanks to $3.5 million in Vision tax extension money approved by voters in April. Plans call for a BMX track, but City Councilor Connie Dodson would like to hear more suggestions for the park.

Dodson and Tulsa Parks Department Director Lucy Dolman will be at the Martin Regional Library, 25th and Garnett, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dodson's office said the parks department already has a concept of where the new features will be placed - the BMX track, multi-use sports court and a water playground, but folks will have a chance to submit their vision of the features on index cards.

McCullough Park is located at 11534 East 25th Street.
