TPD Searching For Pickup Driver After Hit-And-Run With Motorcycle

A motorcycle driver is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup Wednesday evening. Tulsa police are searching for the truck driver.

According to police, the pickup was driving on 51st Street near 129th East Avenue when they say he tried to make a U-turn near a Super 8.

Police said while attempting the turn, the driver hit the motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to police, the pickup fled the scene and was last seen running through some motel parking lots.

Police have not released a description of the pickup or the driver.

The name of the victim is unknown.
