Employees Refuse To Open Doors To Tulsa Bank Robbers
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Police say employees prevented a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, employees at the City National Bank at 58th and Lewis saw three men with guns and wearing masks enter through the first set of doors at about 2 p.m. They used the bank's magnetic locks to secure the inner set of doors.
The would-be robbers tried to pry the doors open but were unsuccessful so they ran away, possibly leaving in a red car.
Police don't have much of a description of the three men but hope to release surveillance images soon.
