Tulsa Homicide Detectives Investigate Reported Shooting

Witnesses tell News On 6 a man is dead after a shooting in the 2000 block of North Madison Ave.

A vehicle is secured with crime scene tape, and a witness says a man inside is dead and another person was transported by ambulance.

Virgin Street Was closed at North Madison while investigators gathered evidence.

The witness, Darrell Knox, who is the owner of a local restaurant and lives nearby, says he stayed with the victim as he took his final breaths and then took his pulse.

Homicide detectives are on scene.
