Beggs Band To Perform In Fourth Of July Parade In D.C.

The Beggs High School marching band is off on a big adventure.

The Band of Demons left Friday afternoon for Washington D.C.; they’re performing in the national Fourth of July parade down Constitution Avenue.

The band has been raising money for a year to make the trip of a lifetime.

Band director Matt Cauldwell said, "Hopefully it's an experience that they'll always remember. And it's also a great way to represent our town and our state, participating in the parade."

While they're in D.C., the band will also visit most of the major memorials and monuments.
