GRDA Identifies Man Who Died In Grand Lake Mishap

The Grand River Dam Authority identified the man who died after a mishap in Grand Lake on Tuesday.

The man was Carl William Edwards, 54, of Heavener, according to the GRDA.

Justin Alberty with the GRDA said the man and a woman were riding a tube behind a boat near Sailboat Bridge when the man went into the water and had some difficulty.

The Monkey Island Fire Department helped get the man out of the water, but he died at the hospital.

It's not clear if the man drowned or something else caused his death
