One man is in custody after leading police on a chase that ended when the suspect crashed into a high pressure line that feeds a gas meter on Pine Street.

Tulsa Police tell us Randy Wayne Jones crashed into someone's backyard while running from officers in a stolen pickup.

Tulsa firefighters said at least one homeowner was without gas service, and Oklahoma Natural Gas employees are working to restore it.

It all started on the Broken Arrow Expressway near downtown where police started chasing a pickup pulling a trailer headed eastbound. When they were approaching Highway 11 near the airport, the trailer came loose.

Next the chase headed west on Highway 11 and exited on Harvard, traveling south to 15th Street.

They turned east on 15th to Yale Avenue, where they went back north to Pine Street.

After turning east on Pine, the chase ended in a neighborhood near 89th East Avenue.

The homeowner says the crash didn't wake him up, and he's just thankful no one was hurt.

Jones was booked on complaints of eluding police and driving a stolen vehicle, after a felony conviction and resisting officers.
