McAlester Man Dead After Hit By Car, OHP Says

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal car-pedestrian collision just north of McAlester which occurred late Tuesday.

Troopers said the crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 69 at the McAlester city limits.

The OHP says the pedestrian, Timothy Patty, 25, of McAlester was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of a 2015 Nissan Altima, Skylar Johnson, 22, also of McAlester was not injured.
