Former OU Football Star Sentenced On Federal Drug Charge

A former NFL and University of Oklahoma running back De'Mond Parker was sentenced Thursday to a year and one day in prison after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge. 

Parker, listed in court documents as DeMonn Parker, also was ordered to serve three years of supervised probation after his release from prison.

Police searched a car De'Mond was riding in and found 28 grams of crack cocaine under the passenger seat.

De'Mond Parker, played at OU from 1996 to 1998, before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1999.
