Bar S Recalls Numerous Hot Dogs And Corn Dogs

An Oklahoma based company, Bar S Foods, has recalled thousands of pounds of hot dogs and corn dogs due to concerns of Listeria Tuesday.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, a Bar S plant in Altus,Oklahoma, is recalling nearly 400,000 pounds of hot dogs and corn dogs. 

The brand’s bun length, classic franks, Signature Pick 5 corn dogs, and Classic corn dogs all made the list.

The USDA says the affected products were made between July 10th and 13th and have "use by" dates ranging from October 2016 to April 2017.

The USDA says consumers who have purchased any of these products are urged not to consume. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

There have been no confirmed reports of illnesses due to consumption of these products.
