Long lines formed early Friday at the Southwest Airlines ticket counter at Tulsa International Airport.

The airline continues to struggle from a massive computer outage this week as they continue to cancel or delay more flights.  Passengers at Tulsa International Airport, are waiting in line as the airline continues to work through the aftermath of the outage.

A few cancellations were posted Friday morning.

Southwest says their computer systems are back online, so they say getting customers and employees where they need to go is going to be a challenge Friday.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, Southwest canceled more than 1,100 flights around the country including several in and out of Tulsa.

The company says when their computers went down, so did the employee scheduling system, so for most cancellations Thursday caused problems getting employees required to work a flight.

Southwest Airlines statement

Southwest says if you are trying to re-book travel between July 20-24, you have two weeks from your original departure date to re-book at no extra cost.

The airline and the TIA also suggest passengers get to the airport early.
