Chance Of Rain In Forecast Daily For Green Country

Daily shower and storm chances are with us for the week ahead.  We will have several weak upper-level impulses that will help to trigger these showers and storms.  

Additionally, afternoon heating combined with lots of moisture in the air will help to develop those scattered thundershowers in the area each day as well. This more active weather pattern will keep temperatures close to normal levels for this time of year, which is a nice cool-down from the weekend.  

Despite the cooler air and more cloud cover, it will still be a very muggy week.  High moisture levels will make bring the heat index to 100 or above each day for most of the region.

By the weekend, rain chances will start to taper off with a hotter, drier pattern taking hold of the area.
