Man Shoots Woman Then Kills Himself, Tulsa Police Say

A man shot a woman then shot and killed himself in downtown Tulsa, according to Police.

Police said the the man and woman were arguing in a Jeep in the parking lot next to ONEOK Field at about 11 p.m.

Police said the man pulled a gun and the woman was reaching for it when it went off hitting her in the hand. They said man kicked her out of the Jeep, before driving off heading south on Elgin.  

Officers said the man then shot himself in the head, causing the Jeep to crash into a parked vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The woman was first taken to the sheriff's office by a passing driver and EMSA then took her to the hospital. Police say she is expected to be OK.

Police have not released the identity of the man and woman but said they're from out of town.
