Bob Stoops and the OU football coaching staff have put themselves together some pretty solid recruiting classes, and it looks like the Sooners are trying to build up the commits for 2017 & 2018 classes this weekend.

Stoops is hosting a large group of recruits for a barbecue Friday night in Norman, and some of the players have taken to Twitter to say they're headed that way.

Proctor (6-2, 185) is a safety from Owasso High School set to graduate in 2018. He really emerged as a sophomore this past season, with his first offer coming from Oklahoma back in November.

Thomas (6-5,230) is a 2017 defensive end from Tulsa Memorial who's committed to the Sooners over schools such as Tennessee, OSU, Nebraska and Texas A&M.

Robison (6-2, 190) is the ring leader of the 2017 class, and is a four-star (rivals) quarterback out of Mesquite, TX. He's been committed Oklahoma for quite some time, and it's likely he'll be recruiting his potential future teammates at tonight's BBQ.

A four-star safety out of Southlake Carroll in Texas, Barnes (6-3, 198) is committed to the Sooners despite holding offers from schools such as Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas.

With over 27 division one offers, Rambo (6-2,170) is one of the best wide receivers in the 2017 class and has been committed to the Sooners since March.

McKinley (5-10, 160) is a cornerback out of Carrollton, TX set to graduate in 2018. It would be a huge pickup for the Sooners, seeing McKinley is highly coveted by nearly every top program in the nation.
