During Oklahoma’s hot summer days, people working outside learn to be creative when it comes to staying cool.
Over on Memorial, Alen Johnson works every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., trying to get drivers to pull over a Nelson’s Buffeteria.
He’s always waving and dancing, but how does he stay cool?
"I got ice on my head,” he said. “That keeps your noggin cool and your core cool. As long as you keep those two cool, you won't pass out."
Johnson said he's been working his job, in summer and winter, for seven years.
