A state court has denied an appeal by a Tulsa man convicted in 2015 of raping two women at his apartment.

Police said Ashley Pullen, 33, created an elaborate scheme involving a fake Facebook account to lure women to his apartment. They say once the women were there, he drugged and assaulted them.

Following a trial, a Tulsa jury recommended a life sentence.

The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals said Pullen failed to show trial error, declining to modify his prison sentence.
