Man Hit In Head With Metal Pipe During Tulsa Robbery

Police are searching for a man who assaulted and robbed another man late Monday in midtown Tulsa.

Just before 11 p.m., officers were called to the Yorktown Mart in the 2000 block of East Skelly Drive.

The victim told police he had just left the store when a man walked up to him and started asking questions.  Before he could answer, he said the man grabbed his belongings and hit him in the head with a metal pipe. 

EMSA took the man to the hospital.  Police say he is expected to be OK.
