The Muskogee Police Department is helping make sure kids are ready for school.
Friday, officers, firefighters, and EMS workers collected donated supplies. Tuesday, they set up outside one of the EMS buildings to hand out supplies to parents based on need.
Police said they ran through the supplies pretty fast.
"The way it's going, no. The tables were pretty much full of everything when we started at 10. And by 10:30 we had cleared about half of it out," said Officer Lincoln Anderson.
The officers encourage everyone to help kids out in their own communities.
