No Available Drivers Leaves 20 Tulsa Bus Passengers Stranded For Hours

Twenty people were stranded at Tulsa's bus station when a Greyhound bus driver left the bus this morning without finding a replacement driver.

Passengers say the bus driver made them get off the bus at about 3:00 in the morning and told them a replacement was coming in 15 minutes.

But they waited for hours with their luggage and personal items locked inside the bus.

“We've been here well over seven hours - no food, no nothing. We don't know where we are,” passenger Lewis Armstrong said. “We are just stuck here with nobody to help us or give us information.”

The company said they didn't have any drivers available at that time, but told passengers they could re-issue their tickets for a later bus.

The bus got back on the road just after 9:00 a.m.
