DENTON, Texas - Last year, Mason Fine became the Oklahoma high school all-time passing leader, helping Locust Grove to a 12-1 mark.

Now, Fine is a freshman at North Texas and he's learning the offense fast under new head coach and former OU fullback Seth Littrell.

"Mason's had an unbelievable camp,” said Littrell. “There's not a doubt in my mind I'd feel very comfortable putting him in there right now and he'd go out there and make plays for us. We have to make sure we do everything we need to do to put our team in a position to win football games, so if he's the best guy, there's no reason to red-shirt him."
