Expectations High For Oologah H.S. Football
OOLOGAH, Oklahoma - Expectations are very high for Oologah high school football this season.
The Mustangs came up one point short of a state title in Class 4A last season, and they're returning almost all of their best players.
"Our goal is always to be the best that we can be and play at the highest level we can play at, no matter what year it is,” said Head Coach Brandon Craig. “The last two years, we've been really fortunate to get to where we've got and again this team expects to get there."
"We're just going to get better every day,” said defensive end Brock Martin. “We've got a lot of kids to replace, but our defense is looking pretty stout [and our] offense is coming along good. Everyone's thinking we're going to be contenders, but we're going to have to prove ourselves."
