Collinsville Man Arrested For Shooting BB Gun At Car, Wounding Woman

Tulsa police arrested a Collinsville man early Sunday morning after they say he shot into a car with a BB gun, wounding a woman.

The incident started near 31st and South Peoria where a woman showed up complaining she had been hit with the pellet gun by someone in an SUV.

The Tulsa Police helicopter responded to the Riverside area where they found a man and woman trying to change the tire on an SUV that matched the description They also observed as the man - later identified as Charles Brandon McWilliams - hid something near some rocks - and that's where the BB gun was found.

McWilliams, 30, was booked on two complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon.

An arrest report states the victims positively identified him as the shooter. Officers said there were several silver BBs in the front of his car that matched one lodged in the rubber door trim of the victim's vehicle.
