OSU's Austin Hays On Freshman WR Dillon Stoner

When the Cowboys take on Southeastern Louisiana Saturday afternoon in Stillwater a handful of true freshmen will likely see action.

Among those freshmen is former Jenks standout Dillon Stoner. He worked into the rotation at receiver during fall camp, impressing the upperclassmen in the process.

"Dillon in particular, you know, I love that kid,” said redshirt senior receiver Austin Hays. “I've just kind of personally taken on that role with him and it's been a blast; it really has. Obviously, [he's] a smart kid, can run, can catch."

The 2:30 p.m. opener will be the first season opener at Boone Pickens stadium in four years.
