It was all quiet at Jim Crews' home on West Easton street Friday night, until all of the sudden at 7 p.m. Crews heard a semi tire strike his home.
Crews said he was walking into his home not too far from the Keystone Expressway when he heard the tire hit.
“I thought there was a wreck on the highway," stated Crews. "I looked down and there was a tire lying beside the house and a big hole in the side of it."
Crews said he couldn’t believe the damage the tire did.
He recalled just moments before the tire came through the wall, his dogs had been lounging right in its path.
Crews said he's just lucky no one was inside.
