Owasso Police Look For Suspect After Chase

Owasso Police searched for someone who ran off after a police chase ended late Sunday morning near Sperry. Police were searching for the suspect on the north side of Delaware Creek near 83rd and Peoria around 11:45 a.m.

The driver managed to get away, according to Owasso Deputy Chief of Police Jason Woodruff. The car crashed near 85th and Peoria where the bridge over the creek is being replaced.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol assisted in the search. Woodruff said OPD originally tried to stop the car for speeding.
