Neighbors tell News On 6 a vacant Tulsa home has been a recurring problem near 2nd and Indianapolis. On Wednesday morning, a small fire broke out there, and it appears there may have been criminal activity going on.

Someone driving by on Interstate 244 saw smoke and called 911, firefighters said. A mattress was burning, and there may be drug paraphernalia inside.

Neighbors said a woman lived at the home until her death several years ago. Since that time, they say homeless people have been living there and causing concerns for neighbors.

"We need something done," said Wahleah Vogt. "This neighborhood doesn't deserve this."

Vogt said they've called police and code enforcement many times about the house.

Tulsa firefighters said they are waiting on investigators to determine the exact cause of the house fire.
