A Tulsa Police spokesman said it has been peaceful in the nearly 24 hours since the officer-involved shooting video was released and TPD hopes it stays that way.

However, TPD has been getting threats on Facebook directed at both police in general and officers.

The department has since put extra precautions in place.

They're allowing officers to double up in patrol cars, but not requiring it.

TPD is also denying any new vacation and comp time requests.

TPD said it is reminding officers to be vigilant on any call they take.

The spokesperson said they could end up putting officers on 12-hour shifts, but to his knowledge haven't done that yet.
