President Obama Calls Tulsa Mayor Over Crutcher Shooting

President Barack Obama called Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett Wednesday afternoon.  

The White House says Bartlett updated the President on what was happening in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher.

He also expressed his condolences to Mayor Bartlett on the tragic event and affirmed the administration's commitment to provide assistance as needed. 

Bartlett said the president was very complementary of Tulsa and how the situation has been handled.
