Saturday's game in Waco will mark Oklahoma State’s first night game of the 2016 season.
Most coaches and many players aren't big fans of late kickoffs, but there doesn't seem to be much concern from the Cowboys on the 6:30 p.m. kickoff in Waco.
OSU’s maturity seems to be one of the big reasons that taking on the 16th-ranked Bears inside a packed McLane Stadium means the wait won't be an issue for the players.
"I think football was intended to be played under the lights,” said offensive lineman Zach Crabtree. “That's what it's about. While you hate waiting all day, getting your energy level up, getting fired up, that's not a problem, especially when it's at night. Going into an opponent’s house and they're all yelling against you, it kind of gives you a reason to get up and get going."
