Interstate Shutdown After Fatal Auto-Ped Crash In NE OKC

Emergency crews responded to a fatal auto-pedestrian accident in NE OKC Wednesday night.

The accident occurred around 8:00 p.m., on NB I-35 at the E. John Kilpatrick off-ramp EB.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol believes a man was trying to cross the road when he was hit by two cars and killed. The victim is Lewis Jaiman, 23, of Tulsa.

OHP closed NB I-35 just south of John Kilpatrick Turnpike to clear the scene. All lanes were re-opened were opened just before 10:40 p.m.
