Police continue to look for suspects in a home invasion and assault at a Tulsa apartment complex Wednesday evening that left a 9-month-old baby critically injured.

It happened at the Meadows Apartments in the 2800 block of South 130th East Avenue. Both the victims and the suspects in the home invasion live in that apartment complex, police said.

Officers were called back to the Meadows Thursday after neighbors apparently started looting an apartment that belongs to one of the suspects. Police caught several people taking things from the apartment - furniture, appliances and silverware are some of the items said to be missing.

Several people were placed in handcuffs as officers tried to control the scene.

The apartment belongs to Jordan Morrow who is in jail in the home invasion and assault.

She's one of three people police say broke into an apartment over a property dispute. During the home invasion, a baby boy was hit with a metal pipe. Doctors performed surgery on the infant, who is listed in critical condition.

Morrow, 20, is being held on complaints of child neglect, assault with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary.

Police say Morrow's own 2-month-old infant was in the vehicle she and the other suspects used during the home invasion.

Police say the trio broke a back window and entered the apartment with the intention of beating up a man they said is the father of the 9-month-old boy. He is identified as 31-year-old Joshua Hunt. He was injured and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Hunt was later arrested at the hospital where his child was being treated.

A police arrest report states officers were contacted by hospital security with surveillance video that shows Hunt taking an unattended purse from a waiting area and going through it in the elevator. The victim's son reportedly found his mother's phone in Hunt's back pocket.

Hunt was booked on complaints including knowingly concealing stolen property and grand larceny.
