Man Shot During Tulsa Armed Robbery Attempt

Police say a man is recovering after he was shot during an attempted armed robbery Tuesday night at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Officers responded to the Shoreline Apartments near 21st Street and Interstate-44 just before 9:00 p.m.

Police said when they arrived, they found one person shot in the chest and hip. EMSA took the victim to a Tulsa hospital and police say he is expected to be OK.

Police say the unidentified shooter left the complex in a blue Ford pickup and they're not sure if he and the victim knew each other.

Officers found several shell casings in the parking lot between two cars.
