The Little Light House's annual one-hour fun run fundraising event is set for 9 a.m. October 15 at Cascia Hall, but Wednesday is the last day for runners to register.

The event is a way for participants to raise money for the LLH by finding sponsors to support them as they run - or walk - for one hour around the Cascia Hall track.

The Little Light House serves children with special needs on a tuition-free basis, and the money raised helps pay for the comprehensive special education and therapy services for the children, including speech, physical, occupational and low vision therapy, according to the LLH website.

Participants can run as an Individual, Team, Couch Potato or Designated Hero. To register click here
