Police say a car ran a red light, causing a collision Monday morning that spilled diesel fuel in the intersection.

The wreck happened in the northbound lanes of Memorial underneath the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Police said the black car ran a red light and hit truck that had just exited from the eastbound lanes of the BA Expressway. The collision ruptured the fuel tank on the side of the truck.

EMSA checked out the woman who was driving the black car because she was complaining of neck pain. Police wrote her a ticket for running the red light.

Police blocked the northbound lanes until the Tulsa Fire Department's hazmat crew could clean up the fuel spill.
