The Rogers County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol Search and Rescue Team is looking to add new members to its team.
The team has gained national attention for its many successful search and rescue missions since being formed three years ago.
Rogers County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Coy Jenkins supervises the group and said the success of the unit is attributed to the expertise that his volunteers have acquired in wilderness searches, advanced first aid and technical rope rescue training.
Tryouts are being held Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Claremore Expo beginning at 10 a.m.
For more information, contact Maj. Jenkins at 918-923-4477.
