Suspects Connected To Bartlesville Robbery Arrested In Kansas

Two people suspected in an Bartlesville robbery were arrested in Montgomery County Kansas.

According to a news release, Bartlesville police say officers went to Independence, Kansas Wednesday and worked with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to interview 19-year-old Terry Carmichael Smith III and 18-year-old Jaylon Neal.

Bartlesville police say the two are suspected in a November 12th robbery at the local Casey’s convenience store.

They say a similar robbery occurred later in Caney, Kansas.

The release says once Caney released information, the Independence Kansas Police Department contacted both Caney and Bartlesville with information.

After interview the suspects, the two were arrested for the Kansas crimes.

Bartlesville police say they plan to place holds on Smith and Neal for the robbery. Detectives are preparing arrest warrants to present to the District Attorney’s Office.

Smith and Neal are being held in the Montgomery County jail.

Smith is also suspected in a robbery in Yates Center, Kansas.
