Delaware Woman, 21, Killed In Fiery Crash

<p>A 21-year-old Delaware woman is dead after an early morning crash in Nowata County.</p>

A 21-year-old woman is dead after an early morning crash in Nowata County. Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Victoria Egermeier of Delaware died when her Ford pickup left the highway, struck a guardrail and caught fire.

Troopers said Egermeier was eastbound on State Highway 28 at 4:17 a.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016. About a half mile west of County Road 416, she left the roadway near for an unknown reason.

No one else was in the pickup. 

The highway was closed for almost two hours. Nowata County Sheriff's Department, Nowata Police Department, Delaware and Nowata Fire Departments and Nowata EMS responded to the fatal crash.
