Police say a Tulsa man made a citizen's arrest after multiple gunshots were fired in his yard Friday evening.

When officers got to the scene in the 2200 block of South 99th East Avenue just before 7 p.m. they say they found the victim holding another man at gunpoint.

The victim told police three men showed up at his house asking for someone who didn't live there.  About an hour later, the victim said the trio came back and started shooting, so the victim fired back.

Police say the three men ran off, but not before the victim chased down one of the men and held him at gunpoint until officers arrived.

EMSA took the suspect to the hospital for what police said was a gunshot wound to the head.  Police say he is expected to survive and once he is released from the hospital, he will be booked into the Tulsa County jail.

Police say the two other suspects got into a Chevy Camero and left, leaving two pistols behind.
