A woman told Tulsa Police she was robbed and assaulted by a man she met on Facebook and then in person. The woman told police she'd arranged to get a ride from a man on the social media site.

The man picked her up and took her back to his home near East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue late Tuesday night, November 29, 2016, according to police records. Several people were at the house, and police said "an argument escalated and resulted in the suspect physically assaulting the victim, taking her possessions and forcing her outside of the residence."

Police said the woman went to a neighbor's house to call police and said she saw the house empty out before police arrived. Police did not release any identifying information about the suspect.
