TULSA, Oklahoma - The 52nd annual Tournament of Champions press conference took place Wednesday as they unveiled the brackets for both a loaded girls and boys field.

Seven of the eight teams in the boys' bracket are in the top three in their respective classes, along with six of the girls' teams.

"It's tough,” said Adair girls head coach Scott Winfield. “It's one of them deals where you go out and try to get a win, but some years you don't get them and some years you do. It's that hard. It's like playing in a state tournament."

Memorial boys head coach Bobby Allison says although the state tournament can’t be simulated, the Tournament of Champions is the closest thing to it, “especially with it being at the Mabee Center, to getting your team mentally and physically ready for a state tournament run."

The tournament begins Dec. 28 and ends Dec. 30.
