Man Shot In Head After Buying Food At Owasso Restaurant

Police are investigating after they said a man was shot outside a fast food restaurant on East 96th Street North Thursday evening.

Officers were sent to the Whataburger about shots fired at 5:40 p.m.   They arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.  

Police said after talking with customers in the restaurant, it appears nine shots were fired by two suspects with one shot hitting the victim.

They said the victim had just made a food purchase at the restaurant and was leaving in his pickup when he was shot.

At last word, police said the victim is in the hospital in serious condition.
