Tulsa Woman's Scream Stops Break-In, Police Say
TULSA, Oklahoma - A woman told police she heard someone trying to break into her house early Monday morning, December 12, 2016. It happened around 6 a.m. in the 3200 block of North Garrison Avenue.
Police said the woman heard one of her windows open and at first thought it was one of her children. She heard someone crawling through to window - screamed - and the man climbed back out, records show. Police spotted a man wearing a tan Carhart jacket and black shorts running into an apartment complex near the home.
They searched for him for 30 minutes but weren't able to find him.
