Organization Seeks Donations To Help Feed Pets Of Tulsa's Homeless

It’s the time of the year to reach out to the less fortunate, and that includes animals, too.

The "Feeding The Pets of Tulsa's Homeless" organization is collecting donations at the Pooches pet store - or the Wagology shop - both near 41st & Skelly.

Donations can be dropped off during business hours through Friday.

Volunteers like Debra Fite say that for many of Oklahoma's less-fortunate animals are an important source of companionship.

"It's their family, protection. It's their reason really to keep going. They love their animals. Their animals love them,” Fite said.

Donated pet food is handed out at Iron Gate and Nightlight.
