Some families at Rosa Parks Elementary were treated to a very special surprise Tuesday.

Thanks to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and SemGroup, volunteers handed out prepared boxed meals for families this holiday.

They also had hats, gloves and coats available for the families who need them; and for kids, toys and board games galore.

Greg Raskin with the Community Food Bank said, "And there is clothes on the table and looks like somebody brought some bikes in. So I think we're going to see some very happy children and some very happy families."

For the families who were working or unable to make it to the pick-up, groups of volunteers delivered meals to them at their homes.
