Police shut down the off ramp at a busy Tulsa highway interchange because of an SUV-cement truck crash.

Officers said the driver of a Ford Edge was southbound on Highway 169 and failed to yield to traffic while trying to get on eastbound Broken Arrow. The woman driving a Lincoln SUV swerved to avoid the Ford and hit the cement mixer truck. Both vehicles rolled.

The off-ramp from southbound Highway 169 to the eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway was shut down temporarily because of the crash.

The drivers of both the Lincoln and the truck were taken to the hospital to be checked out. Police said they were banged up but should be OK.

The driver of the Ford was cited for failure to yield.
